New Youtube Channel

Hello, everyone!

Just a heads up, I will start publishing again on Youtube in the next few weeks -- A new channel to coincide with my new print shop -- will be my new home.

That channel will be called "Jeffrey Brown Photographer". Subtle difference, but did you read that right?

Photographer.

The idea behind it is something I've been wanting to do, and was planning on doing with another channel in mind, a channel called "Creative Depression"; a channel dedicated to understanding clinical depression (as best as I can) and how it affects my ability to be a productive creative person.

I still want to do this, but I feel it would be wise to keep my branding the same so that everything matches. However, I wanted to reflect that this new channel isn't really like other photography channels on YouTube that are more tutorial based, but rather it is more so about the working art photographer who is also living with clinical depression.

Also shared on that channel will be YOUTUBE SHORTS (and maybe TikTok's as well, if I can muster up the strength to redownload that app) that will introduce new art prints as they become available and talk about the story behind them. What was my inspiration? Any difficulties getting the shot? What emotion was I trying to invoke and was I successful? Did I try any different or weird editing techniques? I will link to those videos right here as a blog post, and of course I will use my YouTube to help drive some people here to this blog and my print shop.

Is this an idea you like? Are you interested in getting to know me a little bit more? Do you think this content will have a positive impact on other artists who also have to contend with their mental health? What other kind of content would you may be interested in that I don't mention above? Let me know in the comments section, and, be on the look out for some new art prints as soon as I take a photograph that means something to me.

Love you all and thanks for reading,

JB
