Life Update
May 10, 2026
First of all, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
A lot has changed in the last few days, and some of you may be aware, and some may not, which is why I decided to write a little update.
About a year ago, I packed up a little 8x8 POD put my two cats in my Prius, and moved back across the country to my hometown of Charlotte, NC. My best friend Matt flew out and together, we road tripped across the country, stopping in Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and finally, back home. It was an awesome trip.
The last year, however, has not been awesome. Grieving my lost marriage, dealing with an incredibly hurtful and life-defining betrayal (IYKYK), and trying to get through it all has been one of the most challenging periods of my life.
But now, 2026, I've gotten it figured out. The gym is finally sticking and has become a sanctuary of sorts. I'm eating right, I'm exercising, and I finally have landed a GREAT full-time job as a photographer for CADY Studios here in Charlotte.
With my life finally back on track, I can spend some time working on my personal art, which brings me to the 2nd point of this blog post...
You will notice some changes in the coming months. A LOT of my previous California work will be archived and removed, with a curated collection remaining behind in a new "Series" tab on my website. This is where you'll find some new artwork from around North and South Carolina that I've been working on these past few months. The Carolinas are much different than California, and with the change in environment, my art has also had to change. The first series I will be releasing by the end of the year is my "Carolina" Series. This is a collection of Americana photographs I've taken the past year or so that I've been back. Next year, I will be taking some trips to the Outer Banks and the Coast in general and that will be a new Series I'm very excited about.
These series are LIMITED to a certain number of prints. Once they're gone, THEY ARE GONE.
Outside of these limited edition series, you'll find a section with some of my favorite prints that will ALWAYS be available for purchase -- my "classics", if you will. Like "Lifeguard Tower", "Sunset Bridge", "Easy Livin", and "White Point Beach". These make GREAT gifts and will be available at an affordable price.
Thank you all for the love and support over the years and I can't wait to share some new artwork with all of you.
Love,
Jeffrey Brown
